a return to "country seven"
For work/training, I'm back in The Netherlands (the seventh country I visited) for two weeks. The flight was delayed by two hours while we waited for a wheel to be put on the plane in front of us (this was the official story) and I barely squeaked into the "hotel" on the university campus where the training will be held next week. I wound up here very early because the travel agency told me it would be ¥100,000 cheaper to leave Friday instead of Saturday. It seems it's been cool and rainy but I also heard stories of forty degrees in Paris this weekend so I'm not sure what to expect.

The flight went over the Arctic Ocean, to an extent I've never done before. We passed between the pole and the tip of Ellesmere Island. It was flight #206 for me. I wonder how many hotel rooms I've stayed in.
